Grace and Peace

All the brothers and sisters here join me in sending this letter to the churches of Galatia.

May God the Father and our Lord Jesus Christ give you grace and peace.

~ Galatians 1:2&3 NLT

The apostle Paul writes to the churches of Galatia, and he includes the famous words he seems to include throughout his books, "May God and our Lord Jesus Christ give you grace and peace". One man of God once said, "Grace isn't only Gods undeserved and unmerited favour, but it is Gods supernatural power that enables you to produce results you wouldn't normally accomplish with mere human effort." I love it! The bible tells us to let the peace of Christ rule our hearts. Our lives ought to be characterized by peace, irrespective of the challenges we encounter. The bible tells us we have a comforter, the Holy Spirit, so we can be at peace because we have a comforter living on the inside. We have a God who invites us to worry about nothing, but rather we should cast all those worries on him. In Philippians 4:6, we are admonished to not worry about anything but to pray about everything. We are not obliged to carry our worries on our shoulders nor our faces. Jesus already told us, "Cast all your cares on me for I care for you." Isn't in amazing to know you can leave it all in Jesus' hands. I just love how it says, 'All' meaning you should have absolutely no care, since it's all on Jesus. I am convinced God's love for us truly reaches higher than the heavens. Worrying isn't good for our mental health nor physical health, and God knows that and he cares!

I pray we may learn to speak to the Holy Spirit. Communicating with the Holy Spirit brings about a peace that transcends human understanding. Things will be happening all around you but you remain unfazed. As you read this may God the father and our Lord Jesus Christ give you grace and peace.
