I declare before God that what I am writing to you is not a lie. ~GALATIANS 1:20 NLT
Paul seems to always emphasis the truthfulness of his message. In Paul's days there was a lot of opposition to the gospel. A lot of false prophets and brethren who would deliberately twist the truth. These people more especially were against the 'grace' gospel, the truth that Jesus Christ did everything for us. He reconciled us to God by his blood, and God made us complete through our union with Christ.
So you also are complete through your union with Christ, who is the head over every ruler and authority. ~Colossians 2:10 NLT
Yet now he has reconciled you to himself through the death of Christ in his physical body. As a result, he has brought you into his own presence, and you are holy and blameless as you stand before him without a single fault. ~Colossians 1:22 NLT
Even today we still have false prophets and brethren, who deliberately twist the truth, hence it is important to also study God's word for yourself. Have personal bible study sessions. Having the ability to read and write is truly a privilege that we ought to exhaust. The gospel/the message of Christ is true. Jesus truly was crucified, he died, he was buried and even more importantly, he rose from the dead. This is an important truth! Paul writing to the church in Corinth said;
"And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain." ~ 1 Corinthians 15:14 KJV
Our faith in Christ is not in vain, because the gospel is true. Jesus Christ did rise from the dead! Hallelujah!
