"but is not the Good News at all. You are being fooled by those who deliberately twist the truth concerning Christ."
Galatians 1:7 NLT
The consequences for those who deliberately twist the truth! I look at verses like this and I wonder how can one twist such Good News? unless they are deceived by the master deceiver himself, Satan.
The Good News is too good! truly its only those whose eyes have been blinded by Satan who can neither see nor embrace the light of the Gospel. I am reminded of Colossians 3:16;
"Let the message of Christ dwell richly in you".
The only effective way to overcome lies/deception is definitely by the truth. God's word is truth, and truth is light.
"Your word is a lamp to guide my feet and a light for my path" ~Psalm 119:105
To get rid of darkness what one has to do is to simply turn on the light. The darkness will have no option but to cease. May we continually fix our eyes of Jesus Christ, his finished works! The message of Christ clearly outlined in the holy scriptures so we stand firm in this true gospel.
